65 and older senior members of Whittier Hospital's Senior Program receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the Activity Center Friday February 19, 2021.

Participants were also helped through the registration process by the staff and volunteers. “I am so grateful to Whittier Hospital for reaching out to us and providing this great opportunity to receive the vaccine in our own neighborhood” said Ruth M., one of the participants.
It is important for older adults to get the vaccine because they have the highest risk of being very sick from contracting COVID-19.
